Additionally, I provide guidance on stretching and strengthening exercises to help clients maintain their progress. I am also looking forward to incorporating acupuncture and facial rejuvenation into my practice soon.
My Practice:
With a strong background in health sciences, I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor's degree emphasis on health sciences. I continued my education at the Pacific College of Health and Science, earning a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. My journey into the healing arts began at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, where I graduated in 2012.
Over the years, I have developed a specialized practice focusing on athletes, including MMA fighters, golfers, baseball players, and triathletes. My approach involves pinpointing issues and bringing awareness to the body, allowing it to start the healing process naturally. I have extensive experience as an EMT/Nurse Tech III in an ER, which has given me a deep understanding of the human body and its healing mechanisms.
My Story:
My passion for healing began as a teenager when I visited a holistic chiropractor. His approach to the body and life inspired me profoundly. Although life initially took me in a different direction, leading me to become a hairstylist, I always knew I was destined for more. My clients loved the scalp massages I provided, which further fueled my interest in bodywork and healing.
After transitioning from hairstyling to EMS I took up Manual Therapy and massage. I toured the Southwest with a cycling team, where I had the opportunity to work with various athletes, helping them recover and perform at their best. This experience solidified my desire to pursue a career in massage therapy and healing.
I am also a first-degree Reiki practitioner and have been a student of the body, health, and nutrition throughout my career. Currently, I am preparing for the Acupuncture state boards to expand my practice further.
